Next up: @zoupeatery (in the Simcoe Place food court)!
We tried the cajun chicken and sausage gumbo and it was SO hearty and filling. This is the perfect soup for a cold and rainy day, with brothy chicken soup with andouille (spicy cajun sausage), fresh thyme, black roux, garlic, green peppers, celery and onions. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of meat from this franchise.
This s(o)uper soup scores 7.8/10. ????
We also tried the santa fe chicken chilli – tomato based chicken chili with jalapenos, green peppers, white beans, green chilies, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, cumin and fresh cilantro. This was less hearty and more soup-like than traditional chillis, but surprisingly pleasant. This is an excellent chilli option for the summer months with the perfect amount of spice! We would love to hear your thoughts on the world’s most important topic of debate: is chilli a soup or a category of its own?
You can never go wrong ordering anything from @zoupstjoseph. I’ve been going there since they opened in the area. It’s vegetarian and vegan friendly. Healthy too. The best part is, their pick-two combo allows you to try more off their menu: Cheesy Chicken Quesadilla Soup, Fiesta Chicken Salad and French Bread. Check them out if your in the area! #localbusiness #foodie #soup #salad
Same girl different post:Perfect meal all year round!
Happy Friday! After being outside in the cold for a bit today to clear my work van/parking spot, I really wanted soup for lunch to warm up! So what better way to stay warm then get curbside pickup @zoupeatery off Tuttle.
My go-to Zoup soup is their chicken pot pie. Such a unique tasting soup choked full of potatoes, chicken, green beans, peas, celery, corn, and carrots… and tastes so much like pot pie in soup form! ???? The best part: the pie crumb topping! I asked for extra and they gave me a whole cup – hooray!! Thanks Zoup! ????
If you fill out your Zoup Rewards profile (which I had the rewards, but didn’t complete the profile), you get a BOGO bowl of soup reward! For $8 (plus tip), this is a crazy
